Once again called on Davids services, to correct the poor finish left after a trip to a local paintshop, again Davids skills have returnedmy Baby to its former shiny self.
Car was snowfoamed, washed using TBM, clayed, to remove a small mountain of overspray, rinsed, dried, then polished.
She then got a coat of CG Ezglaze and then a coat of DJ Orangecrush, (Great shout David)
Result, WOW

Our Project car, an Audi RS4 Avant was detailed this week by David, the car went in pretty rough looking and paint just looked dull even after i'd washed it....
but....
It now looks absolutely amazing with the full full pearl effect paint now popping out of the car at you and I couldn't recommend DDB's services enough - we will be using his services on all our project cars from now on!!

He's based just near Silverlink in Newcastle so handy for most people living in the North-East, all in all I am 1010% happy with the results....just got to wait for the rain to stop outside!

Cars BMW 650i & BMW 330i
I viewed my BMW 650i from a private seller on a cloudy day. I also collected it on a cloudy day. Everything checked out OK but the paintwork looked a little dull, nothing a good wash and polish could not sort out.
However it was only when I had washed the car a couple of times that the real condition of the car was revealed. It had been the victim of a very poor machine polish (or two) that made the car look like it had been cleaned with a scourer, there were deep swirls on every panel. After doing some internet research I found that Dave was highly recommended.
Dave (and Chris) travelled down to Ripon to have a look at my car. He revealed the true state of the paint, and got to work with Chris. A long day of polishing resulted in what looked like a different car. The paint was metallic (previously you could not tell). I was so pleased; I booked in my wife’s 2003 sapphire black BMW330i for the same treatment. Although my wife’s car was already in good condition, Dave worked his magic on that also, both cars now look superb, both inside and out.

Dave was a consummate professional, knowledgeable, skilled and friendly. He kept me informed at each step of way. The result far exceeded what I thought was possible and I would highly recommend him.

After an extensive search for a good detailer in my area I found Davids details. His impressive photographs of recent work prompted me to arrange a meeting so he could tell me what I needed for my Cobalt blue Porsche 911 (997) C4S.

As a car owner who has had quite a number of exotica over the years I know they have to be looked after well in order to give their best. I can honestly say that in all this time, Davids work represents the best detail I've had.

From the initial contact we had, it was clear he knew how to keep a customer happy - he actually LISTENED to my needs and didn't just try and fit my requirements into what he *thought* I'd want based around a limited idea of what was available.

His response was to hear my feedback, then act on it by using collective knowledge of many different products/situations to provide a service that fulfilled my criteria.

As a result of this, I think his choice of products and detailing methods were highly effective, a fact which is proven by the excellent photographs of the work David carried out on of my Porsche.

The end result? One VERY happy customer!

I look forward to providing David with regular maintenance work to ensure the well being of my Porsche, safe in the knowledge that he knows how to look after such a decent piece of kit!

To anybody out there thinking of using Dave to enhance their vehicle, I say go for it!
I took my 2 year old but recently purchased Audi RS6 Avant to Dave to get it as close to how it would have been if I had bought it from new. I believe he exceeded that. The car is immaculate, and all the niggles I was aware of are gone. Everything that should shine, shines. Everything that should not, does not. It really is better prepared than previous newly bought cars that I have owned.
Dave is a very pleasant and very knowledgable guy and he is also an enthusiast, he was more interested in getting the car perfect than even I was. His attention to detail was outstanding and embarassingly, he knew more about the car than I did. He gave me a full run-down of everything that had been done and a complete list of all expenses incurred.
He showed such love for the car and pride in what he had achieved, that I felt a little guilty in taking it away from him!
Due to the excellent work done and also his excellent attitude, I have decided to use Dave to perform monthly maintenance on the appearance of the car. It will be money well spent.

On a recommendation from a forum contributer I contacted David about a protection detail on my 06 Golf R32.

He completed the detail today and what an excellent job. With friendly service and plenty of advice to help me look after the car until the next time I call upon him!!

Car looked so good I had to take it out for some photo's, despite the driving rain!!

David did a correction machine polish and wax on our 11yr old BMW Z3, the paint work was full or swirls and scratches from the previous owner.
He arrived at 9.30am and didn’t finish till near 6pm. It has changed a nice 11year old car into a stunner, in fact one passer-by had asked if had just been repainted as it looked so new.
David seems truly passionate about his work and deals with your car as if it was his own.
Very happy indeed, and would be happy to recommend David.

David did a full machine polish and wax on my Ford focus, the previous owner had a fetish for car washes so the paint work was tired and marked I was forever washing my car but it never looked clean. After David had the car for one day he gave me back a totally transformed vehicle I couldn’t be happier with the end result he has restored the depth and shine the car was missing. I would recommend David to anyone thinking about having their car professionally polished he is literally OCD about making cars shine……………. Very chuffed.

David completed a machine polish for me today on my Red Micra SR160, and to be honest I was amazed at tne results, the depth of finish he achieved was wonderful, after polishing he also glazed the car , and then topped it off with Petes 53 Wax, he also found time to dress the tyres and clean all of the glass.
What made the day even more enjoyable was Davids pleasant attitude and his willingness to explain everything he was doing, and more importantly why.

This is the second car David has machine polished for me to correct paint defects and swirling.

His attention to detail is second to none and I have full confidence in his knowledge, technique and expertise. The product range he offers is vast and tailors the products to the individual car rather than a general one product for all.

The defects in the paint were clear to see when the car had been prepared for polishing after having suffered Mechanical Car Washing and the usual Dealer Complimentary Hand washes. The level of correction was fantastic, restoring depth and gloss back to paint which look dull and grey in certain lights.

Overall I am delighted with the result. Avoid any dealer washes, cheap hand washes or Machine car washes and get the expert in is my advice to anyone reading this. I shall be using David on a regular basis to maintain my car after it has been so carefully restored to its factory finish. Highly recommended!

After a recommendation through a forum I booked David for an Enhancement Detail on my Audi TTS and I was delighted with the results. I have no hesitation in recommending him, and will be using again in the near future.

I originally approached DDB after reading positive comments on the internet. My brand new BMW 535d had been poorly prepared by the dealer and I'd completely lost confidence in their ability to rectify matters. The paintwork was full of swirls and the occasional deep scratch. I'd also paid for the optional BMW seal and protect treatment so was particularly upset by the finish. Knowing that the car would have a limited thickness of paint (and possibly one chance to put things right) I decided it was time for a professional opinion.
David came to my home initially to provide a quote and was confident he could produce the result I was after. His knowledge and expertise was immediately obvious from the start. His subsequent visit to carry out the work was equally professional and he turned up on time (which seems ever unlikely with tradesman these days). David's skilled ability with his rotary polisher took half a day to correct the main issues and as promised, and after a day and a half the final finish was superb. The recommendation of Collinite wax suits the car splendidly and water still beads off even after 6 weeks. I like to look after my cars myself, however the level of correction required here was well beyond something I was comfortable dealing with. I highly recommend David's services to anyone who cares about their car.

An excellent job done on our Hummer h2! Came up like brand new. Sadly though, it is soon to be sold to make way for an Audi A6, however, Julie and I will be asking David, at some stage, to pop up to Bamburgh to give the A6 extra protection too.

Dave did a machine polish on my Alfa 147 yesterday and it was refreshing to speak to someone who was genuinely interested in their work and took the time to explain what they were doing, ie demonstrated the rotary, technique, pads and polish, etc.

Dave turned up on time, stayed most of the day and also advised on varying glazes, waxes, trin detailers and QD's, etc. He also treated the alloys and tyres into the job.

An all round excellent service, from a very friendly, knowledgeable and amusing guy.
